The scholarship recipients were selected by a commission of experts consisting of Dr. Stefan Gronert (Sprengel Museum Hannover), Prof. Dr. Petra Lange-Berndt (University of Hamburg), Lanka Tattersall (The Museum of Modern Art, New York) and Sophia Stang (Anna Polke Foundation).

The scholarships holder are Tereza de Arruda, M.A. and Dr Ian Rothwell. Day by Day - Sigmar Polke starts a Dialogue away is the research project by Tereza de Arruda, proposing an analysis and the possible relation and dialogue of Sigmar Polke’s work in contexts outside the Euro-North American domain.
